Ladies, gentlemen and everyone in between, welcome back to CromulentGeorge.com for the next instalment of REVPRO POWER RANKINGS. This week I come to you with a bumper edition because, well, life got busy! Now, before you get excited that I’ve found fame and fortune let me temper those lofty expectations. Long story short, my brother has joined me at my day job and for a fortnight he was tasked with being in the office everyday, which meant I was also tasked with being in the office everyday – so I took the opportunity to try and form some new healthier habits in my life which I have prioritised over a lot of social media stuff I’ve been doing. I love doing all of this stuff that you all enjoy, but after turning 41 I can’t neglect some of the healthier lifestyle choices that I have been. I’m now back however, and I look forward to coming to you every week with what has happened – but without further ado, let’s get to it!
STOP THE PRESSES: MICHAEL OKU IS DOMINATING REVOLUTION PRO WRESTLING IN 2025

Michael Oku shocked Revolution Pro Wrestling fans at the end of 2024 with what many deemed to be an unexpected ending the inaugural reign of former-Undisputed British Heavyweight Champion, Luke Jacobs, however since coming into 2025, Oku has dominated and since his win over 1 Called Manders at Epic Encounter, he has gone from strength to strength.
Coming into April, Oku had made his intentions clear that he wanted to face “The Youngest In Charge” Leon Slater and the match was set for the biggest event of the year so far, the sub-main event of High Stakes 2025. However it’s key to note that Oku has also had a minor attitude adjustment – but when you’re doing as well as he is, would you expect anything less?
As the numbers break it down, Oku is sitting on just under 800 points overall, on par with the trajectory of Jacobs in his dominating 2024 championship year. Of the first 10 shows of the year, Oku has only missed 2 – with Stephen Wolf being the only man in the division working more – all 10! and Ricky Knight Jr and JJ Gale being the other two men in the positive end of the points total, on 8 and 7 appearances each. Even more impressive is is a whopping 506 points ahead of second place – it’s not insurmountable however – a win over the champion in a non-title match could absolutely create an opening in the division as picking up a win over a champion in your division gives a nifty little bonus, but for Oku it means a blip in form – and a goodbye to those lovely in-form bonuses.
A really interesting stat to start with is Michael has never scored lower than a 65 point week. With 50 points for a win, it would seem in his lowest weeks he is winning the main event of the show he is on, and still generating bonuses. He’s defended his title, which in itself has racked up the bonuses but the form bonus has taken him to the next level. On 8 wins, Oku has entered into the next level of form bonus where he earns a 40% bonus of all points scored – and 3 more singles wins will push him into the next bracket, unfathomable to think of. He’s also celebrated 100 days as Undisputed British Heavyweight Champion, and achieved a bonus for that as well. He hasn’t topped his heights of 144 points in a single week, but with two weeks of 135 points it’s hard to think of who could catch him at this point.
As I write this however, there is a number one contenders tournament that is due to confirm the semi-finals tomorrow in Coventry, and it’s going to be interesting to see who steps up. Leading up to his match against Slater, Oku was adapting all kinds of mind games – whether getting yeeted out of his chair at the 229 as he was live streaming, or when he joined yours truly on the stage in Southampton and live streamed from there – the games were in full effect, and in that close fought match something seemed to shift in the crowd as Amira willed Oku, the power of love urging him to the bottom rope and in turn causing a chorus of boo’s from the crowd as the King and Queen of RevPro celebrated his win.
KANJI GOES TOE TO TOE WITH THE CEO AND LOOKS TO CONQUEOR THE MOUNTAIN TOP

If you happen to listen to me on my podcast, This is a Revolution – co-hosted by my wonderful friend Dave The Mark or even just have a conversation with me then you’ll know how much I have enjoyed seeing the rise of Kanji in RevPro, who we interviewed for This is a Revolution in the lead up to High Stakes and much like Oku, she has been the standout woman in the division on 363 points!
Now when you look at the figures there is a stark contrast there but when digging into the numbers there’s a few things to bear in mind. Firstly, Kanji didn’t have a title to defend and as such missed out on bonuses in relation to both defences and days held. At 87.75 points scored at Live in London 94 with her victory over Dani Luna, she scored the biggest single week of any non-champion in RevPro by winning that main event, which again was her first main event of the year to date. Kanji has done it the hard way and taken bonuses almost purely from being one of the most in-form people in RevPro – a tremendous achievement heading into her match with the CEO. While she wasn’t able to topple Mercedes Mone at High Stakes, she has got herself immediately back on track and sits above second place in the division who happens to be…..
MERCEDES MONES ENTERS THE RANKINGS STRAIGHT INTO SEOCND SPOT; LUNA, WINDSOR AND EMERSYN HAVE SIGHTS SET ON HER TITLE

High Stakes has certainly shaken up things in the division. Following Live in London 94, Dani Luna said it clearly to Kanji – she had to beat Mercedes Mone. While she wasn’t able to do so, Dani Luna bested a number of women to win the Women’s Gauntlet, solidifying her spot in third, which she was trading between second with Zoe Lucas, but being joined by the Undisputed British Women’s Champion in second place, it feels like Dani could be in contention for the title.
Elsewhere, Emersyn Jane ensured her return at High Stakes was impactful as she targeted Kanji and promised that she was able to go one further and take the title from Mercedes. Alex Windsor is no stranger to that belt, and has called out Mercedes on a few occasions, and even Kanji herself has said she knows she can take that title. There’s a few routes that could be taken in this division which feels like it has been going from strength to strength this past year. Will Dani step up? What if Emersyn beats Kanji in Coventry? Will Windsor be distracted by Cut Throat Collective tensions and get there by winning the Revolution Rumble? Time will tell on all points.
RUTHLESSLY MAKING THE MOST OF HIS MINUTES

When you look across the field in the men’s division for RevPro, there’s currently 16 who are on a positive points tally. With some traditional big hitters in Leon Slater, Robbie X, David Francisco and Jay Joshua currently in the negative space, and even Leon Cage currently on zero, it’s meant there’s a more diverse crew occupying the top 10, a position being held joinly by Luke Jacobs and TK Cooper, in the top five no man has had fewer matches than “Ruthless” Will Kaven, a joint 5 appearances out of 10 possible, matching Zozaya, albeit whose appearances have been in concurrent events, Kaven has quietly made the most of every opportunity.
The first thing to note about Kaven’s run is that he doesn’t have the traditional in-form bonuses to help lift him up and also has not had main events to prop up those bonuses either. It’s also worth noting that while Kaven has been working student showcase shows, these aren’t included in RevPro proper rankings, which in turn makes his appearance all the more impressive. In his first week of the year he managed to eek out a positive points total by holding the Undisputed British Cruiserweight Title for 100 days, so despite a loss, was still in a positive position. His next match was also a loss and put him into the negative space but a massive win at Epic Encounter, combined with a title defence and reaching 200 days as champion. His next match after this would be a win over Lio Rush at High Stakes and a trios win with Trew and Lacey. If Will Kaven’s next match is a win, he will also start to earn ‘in form’ bonuses which could push him up higher. He does have JJ Gale and RKJ on his tail – the latter who is the second man to earn a demolition bonus this year for his win over David Francisco.
THE TAG DIVISION IS A NORTH WEST STRONG-HOLD

All year, the story has been the same – Young Guns have been a featured player in the tag team division and finally capitalising on their opportunity at Epic Encounter against Jay Joshua and Connor Mills.
Since then, Young Guns have been embroiled with CPF, and immediately following Epic Encounter they were a trio, with Leon Slater, that lost to CPF. Young Guns were able to exact revenge in singles action and Young Guns defended in a main event at Live in London 95 that saw them score a massive 144 points. As they are a tag team, losses in a trios match does not impact in-form bonuses and as such still maintain that bonus, sitting second in the entirety of RevPro at 451 points.
Thank you for reading, and for allowing me some time for real life and bringing this bumper update.
Until next time!
